DyaGenius PDD -
The Expert System for Photodynamic Diagnosis
DyaGenius PDD- The Advantages:
• Early detection of skin cancer
• Exact localization
• Follow up and therapy monitoring
• Relapse recognition - even on scarred skin
• Fluorescence measurements under room light
• Image archive and patient data management
• Short amortization period
DyaGenius PDD is the expert system for the support of the diagnosis of basal cell carcinoma, actinic keratosis, Bowen´s disease, squamous cell carcinoma and other inflammatory skin diseases. Photodynamic detection is a non-invasive procedure which uses light for the detection and display of specific cancers and skin diseases at an early stage. It enables the simultaneous acquisition and superimposition of morphological (color image) and physiological (fluorescence image) information. LED´s of different wave-length spectra permit the direct excitation of specific marker substances. Due to the homogeneous LED light source, the highly resolution CCD camera and the innovative software platform DyaGenius PDD is the supreme device amongst all imaging systems in the field of photodynamic diagnostics.
Optimized image acquisition
- Best image quality due to the state of the art LED light source with its homogenous illumination field, exact exposure times and pulse frequencies.
- Easy image acquisition because of push buttons on the cscan head and a spacer for placing it upon the lesions. The lesions are easily accessible for biopsies and online markings.
Numerous data analysing features
- Real time display of fluorescence, color and superimposed image in live and non live mode.
- Optimal image processing and contrast enhancement by false color display.
- Elimination of interferences due to the referencing and standardization of fluorescence images by the unique PpIX filter.
- Simultaneous markings of the lesions in all displayed images.
- Threshold for the exact limitation of the lesions.
Advanced documentation
- Detailed input possibilities.
- Simple correlation and quick access to all relevant data of a patient.
- Clearly arranged images of the patient.
- Numerous evaluation possibilities for extensive analysis
